The third ASEAN-China Friendship and Cooperation Short Video Contest was launched simultaneously in Beijing, Wuxi, and Jakarta, capital of Indonesia, on June 27.
Themed on cooperation between China and 10 ASEAN member states, the contest is expected to solicit short videos from the 11 countries and evaluate entries from June to September.
Forty to seventy prize-winners will be selected from among the entries and will rewarded a maximum of $3,000.

The contest is organized by China's Mission to ASEAN, the Permanent Mission of Myanmar to ASEAN, the ASEAN Secretariat and the Wuxi municipal government and other government departments and institutions.
Zhou Wendong, deputy mayor of Wuxi, said at the launch ceremony that ASEAN is Wuxi's largest trade partner and the city attaches importance to trade exchanges and cooperation with ASEAN countries.
Zhou added that the online tour of Wuxi's international sister cities and the forum between Wuxi and its sister cities organized by Wuxi last year received strong support from cities in ASEAN countries.
The second edition of the contest, which was held from May to December last year, received 15,686 entries from China and ASEAN members, and contest-related topics were viewed nearly 45 million times on social media platforms in China and abroad.
