Two enterprises based in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, were listed among the Top 50 Smart Companies in China 2021, according to the EmTech China conference, which was held in Binhu district on July 29-30.
The two listed enterprises are Wuxi Biologics Co Ltd and Envision Digital.
Wuxi Biologics is a world-leading contract research, development and manufacturing organization for macromolecular biologics. In 2021, the enterprise supported 480 integrated projects for clients and applied investigational new drug applications for 150 projects.
As of the end of last year, its annual production capacity had increased to 150,000 liters of macromolecular biologics.
Envision Digital manages more than 400 gigawatts of new energy worldwide via its intelligent operating system EnOS, which comes with a complete suite of connectivity and device management tools, along with pre-built applictions for decarbonization and digitalization.

EmTech, one of the world's most influential conferences in emerging technology, has taken place in China for four years.
This year, the EmTech China conference, which was jointly hosted by Binhu district and MIT Technology Review, attracted more than 200 high-caliber talents from around the world, including 10 academicians, to explore technological innovation and breakthroughs.
