The 2022 Taihu Bay Future Healthcare Conference concluded in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, on Aug 6.
The three-day event attracted more than 2,000 participants, 85 percent of whom are senior executives of investment institutions and multinational and innovative enterprises.
The event organized 18 activities, including 81 keynote speeches and 19 roundtable discussions, during which renowned experts and industry leaders explored new technologies and business forms of the healthcare industry.

Seventeen academicians delivered keynote speeches to share their research achievements in stem cell drug development, synthetic biology, special medical food, and clinical interventional therapy.
The Wuxi Intellectual Property Protection Center was inaugurated and six biological medicine industrial parks in the city received municipal recognition during the event.
It also witnessed the signing ceremony of 52 biological medicine industry projects with a combined investment of more than 30 billion yuan ($4.44 billion) in Wuxi.
Hospitals administered by the Wuxi municipal government also reached cooperation agreements on clinical research with AstraZeneca, Tigermed Consulting, Health Care, and other enterprises, which is expected to further improve medical services in the city.
