The competition is the only national-level one of its kind in China. Since its first edition in 2010, it has been participated in by nearly 500,000 students from over 1,600 universities across China and delivered 150,000 innovative talents to the service outsourcing industry.
As a national service outsourcing demonstration city, Wuxi has been actively developing its service outsourcing industry revolving around software development, integrated circuit design, bio-medical research and development, and film and television production.
The city will further encourage the digital and high-end development of local service outsourcing enterprises and bring in more leading service trade enterprises to improve the competitiveness of its service outsourcing industry, according to Zhou Wendong, vice-mayor of Wuxi.
