Two disposal spots for perishable garbage and a smart disposal spot for recyclables and harmful waste were set up in the community.
Wuxi has also been focusing on the construction and maintenance of public recreation facilities. Xinyuan Road, a demonstration area in that respect, has developed a cleaning model that includes both manual and machine cleaners that clean twice every day.
In addition, the landscaping and shop facades on Xinyuan Road have been in orderly and artistic ways.

Wuxi has also made upgrades to public lavatories. The Dading lavatory located on Yinxiu Road in Binhu sub-district is equipped with a break station for the general public.
When used in conjunction with a smart internet of things system, the lavatory can display passenger flow data on an electronic display, and sensors and intelligent cleaning robots automatically clean the restroom.
