The Wuxi Museum in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, hosted the Huishan Tea Party Humanities Exhibition on Sept 28.
The exhibition displayed nearly 120 exhibits from more than 10 museums in China, including the Palace Museum and Nanjing Museum, to familiarize visitors with the history of tea culture in the country.
The exhibits were showcased in four zones to portray the 1,000 years of tea culture in Wuxi with its focus on the Huishan Tea Party.

Since the Sage of Tea Lu Yu identified the Shiquan Spring in Huishan as the second best spring in the world 1,200 years ago, spring tea culture has been thriving in Huishan. Huishan morning tea, a special repast in Huishan, boasts a history of more than 100 years.
The Wuxi Museum also launched more than 20 culturally creative products, including tea sets, purple clay tea sets, and painting and calligraphy work kits, at the exhibition.

Before the exhibition, the museum put on art shows and tea art performances and invited visitors to try painting on tea ware and taste tea as a warm-up.
To further promote spring tea culture in Wuxi, the Wuxi Museum will organize a seminar on the Huishan Tea Party in October and roll out activities such as experience events and training sessions for Wuxi residents and tourists.
