In Lihu Lake, a must-see attraction in Wuxi, there's a special spot called the Thousand-step Corridor that stretches over 300 meters.
The corridor has 89 lattice windows, each with unique patterns that perfectly blend in with the surrounding scenery. The eastern section of the corridor features a line of stone inscriptions, which are works of ancient Chinese scholars.
The best time to visit the corridor is at sunset, as the light pours through the eight moon-shaped gates on the corridor, creating a unique atmosphere.
Near the end of the corridor is a pavilion roofed with golden glazed tiles called "Ningchun", which represent a desire for an everlasting spring. The pavilion faces a pagoda covered with red bricks and grey-green tiles.
