They shared their insights into Wuxi's development, modern industries, technological innovation, digital economy, and opening up and expressed their confidence in the city and willingness to invest there.
Zhao Jianjun, mayor of Wuxi, thanked these entrepreneurs for their insights and noted that the achievements made by Wuxi woud not have been possible without the support of MNCs and foreign-invested enterprises.
He also expressed hope that they will bring more projects, capital, and resources to Wuxi and pledged that the city will offer them efficient services and create a safe and comfortable environment for them.
Wuxi secured nine MNC projects with a combined investment of about $1.24 billion at the conference.
The round table conference marked the beginning of the Wuxi Reception Hall series of activities, including seminars and salons, which are expected to convince more enterprises to build a presence in Wuxi and promote the city's high-quality development.
These activities saw the signing of cooperation agreements for nearly 50 projects with a total investment of about 71.8 billion yuan ($9.99 billion). The projects involve intelligent manufacturing, new energy, and artificial intelligence.
