The 12th China Wuxi International Culture and Art Industries Fair kicked off at the Wuxi Museum in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, on Nov 18.
The fair consists of a culture and tourism exhibition as well as an artistic installation exhibition.

The culture and tourism exhibition is divided into six parts, focusing on the culture and tourism enterprises, local customs and specialties of Wuxi's pairing-up assistance cities, including Aheqi, Haidong, Yan'an and Lianyungang, as well as the intangible cultural heritage items, artworks, youth culture, delicacies, and tourism resources in Wuxi, respectively.

The latter exhibition displays 24 Grand Canal-themed artistic installations created by 26 young artists from around China.

During the three-day event, cultural scholars and cultural creation experts will be invited to share their views on the sustainable use of the Grand Canal, the longest canal or artificial river in the world.

The event was sponsored by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and Wuxi municipal government and organized by the Wuxi municipal department of culture, broadcasting, television, and tourism, Liangxi district government, and Wuxi Zhengbang International Exhibition Co Ltd.
