More than 1,000 participants, including experts from home and abroad and industry leaders, will attend the WIOT Wuxi Summit, which is scheduled to take place on Nov 26. Experts will share their thoughts on hot topics such as digital economy, digital transformation, and AI plus IoT, or AIoT.

Global Fortune 500 enterprises, industry leaders, and unicorn enterprises are showcasing their core technologies and innovations and will release new products at the IoT exhibition.

A metaverse pavilion where visitors can experience the metaverse first-hand, was launched online.

The expo this year has also created 10 digital city scenarios involving city management, infrastructure, and internet of vehicles to showcase Wuxi's achievements in digital transformation.

Participants of the event are encouraged to support carbon neutrality. The event itself has calculated its carbon emissions and neutralized greenhouse gas emissions by purchasing carbon neutrality insurance.

WIOT 2022 is sponsored by the Jiangsu Provincial Government and organized by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology and Wuxi municipal government.

Since its inception in 2016, the event has been attended by more than 1.1 million people from over 50 countries and regions and seen the signing of agreements for nearly 800 projects with combined investment of over 200 billion yuan ($27.88 billion), making it the world's most renowned and influential IoT event.
