Wuxi in East China's Jiangsu province and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area have cooperated to explore integrated development in recent years.
In October last year, the city established a scientific and innovation industrial integrated development zone in Shenzhen, Guangdong province, and this month it opened a coordinated innovation center in the Hengqin Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone.
Wuxi's Xinwu district opened its innovation center and talent work center in Shenzhen in May to invite more investment and professionals from the Greater Bay Area.
Local authorities believe that integration into the Greater Bay Area is essential for the district to increase its openness to the outside world.
Binhu district's integration into the Greater Bay Area focuses on industries, innovation, and concepts.
This year, the district has arranged many investment promotion conferences, which have helped it secure a number of cross-regional cooperation projects and encouraged more local enterprises to invest in the Greater Bay Area.
In addition to economic cooperation, the two regions have also explored people-to-people exchanges.

At the 27th Macao International Trade and Investment Exhibition, Wuxi showed its healthy natural environment, rich tourist attractions, modern industries, digital transformation, cuisines, and opening up efforts to Macao and Portuguese-speaking countries.
The regional cooperation seminar of the Jiangsu-Hong Kong-Macao University Alliance recently convened in Jiangyin, a county-level city in Wuxi, and Jiangyin and the alliance decided to build a practice base together.
Wuxi Culture and Tourism Development Group and Zhuhai Da Heng Qin Group Co Ltd launched tourism projects such as a camping festival in Wuxi's Yuantouzhu scenic area.
