The 2022 Jiangsu Cyberspace Security Talent Development and Innovation Forum was held in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, on Dec 14.
The forum is expected to promote the cultivation of professionals in cyberspace security provincewide.
Participants of the forum believe that cyberspace security represents the highest level of sci-tech innovation and is highly demanding of professionals.

In recent years, the Office of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Cyberspace Affairs Commission has prioritized the cultivation of cyberspace security professionals by creating professional titles and offering various training sessions.
The Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education continued improving disciplines related to cyberspace security and incentivizing universities to recruit more students for relevant majors.
Participants also believe that Jiangsu should make innovations in talent recruitment, cultivation, and assessment to provide broader space for these professionals to exert their talent.

The forum also invited experts to discuss how to improve the competence of workers at the cyberspace affairs commission offices in the province.
The forum was sponsored by the Office of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Cyberspace Affairs Commission and the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, and organized by the Jiangsu Cyber Security Association, Jiangsu branch of the National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China, and Office of the CPC Wuxi Municipal Cyberspace Affairs Commission.
