Nucleic acid sampling stations in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, have been transformed into fever clinics, providing fever and pain medications to patients in need.
The clinics are equipped with doctors, pharmacists, diagnostic devices, and common medicines.

Unlike those queuing for hours at hospitals, people visiting roadside fever clinics can finish the whole medical process in about 10 minutes. They can use their health insurance to obtain fever and pain medications, which are in short supply across the country.
The city has established more than 1,500 such fever clinics, which were renovated not only from nucleic acid sampling stations, but also from empty rooms provided by local residential community committees, according to the local health commission.
