Jichang Garden, or Qin Garden, is the only existing classical garden in Wuxi built in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).
The garden was a must-stop for Emperor Qianlong (1711-99), who visited it eight times throughout his life.
The emperor held Jichang Garden in high esteem, even saying it topped all other classical gardens in the Jiangnan area.
This natural wonderland provides a harmonious and vibrant space for visitors. There is a rock in the garden called "Beauty Stone". Behold and see if you can see a woman in it who is putting on make-up by the mirror-like pond.
