Changchun Bridge in the Yuantouzhu Scenic Area was built in 1936. Its name "Changchun" expresses hope for everlasting youth.
The stone arch bridge was inspired by the well-known Yudai Bridge at the Summer Palace in Beijing.

Yuantouzhu Scenic Area, or "Turtle Head Isle," is a popular tourist resort on Taihu Lake. Its name derives from a colossal rock protruding into the lake, which looks like a sea turtle raising its head.
Yuantouzhu is known for its natural landscapes, pastoral scenes, and classical Jiangnan-style gardens.
