Wuxi in East China's Jiangsu province is currently home to 10 industrial clusters valued at 100 billion yuan ($14.67 billion), local media reported on Feb 13.
These industrial clusters involve internet of things, integrated circuits, software, biological medicine, high-end equipment, high-end textile garments, new energy, new materials, energy conservation and environmental protection, and auto and auto parts.

Wuxi houses three national industrial clusters, including the Taizhou-Lianyungang-Wuxi biomedical industrial cluster and Suzhou-Wuxi-Nantong high-end textile industrial cluster.
The city's machinery industry saw a record output of more than 1.1 trillion yuan last year.
Despite stricter emissions standards and fierce competition in 2022, the Wuxi Diesel Engine Works of FAW Jiefang Automotive Co Ltd seized the opportunity to expand the market with improved products and lower costs.

With a relatively strong foundation in the traditional automobile industry, Wuxi is home to more than 400 auto and auto parts manufacturers above designated size, while new energy vehicles have become a new driver of the industry.
Last year, the output value of the city's auto and auto parts industry exceeded 200 billion yuan, up 3.4 percent from the previous year.
The research and development center of Wuxi-based Lead Intelligent Equipment Co Ltd made the list of National Enterprise Technology Centers in 2022. LEAD has obtained nearly 2,000 authorized patents and has become the largest lithium battery intelligent equipment manufacturer in the world.
