The 2023 China Wuxi Plum Blossom Cultural Tourism Festival kicked off at the Plum Garden in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, on Feb 13.
Plum Garden is the best place to admire plum blossoms in the city, with over 10,000 plum trees in 400 varieties grown in five zones – the Rong Family Historical Site, ancient plum tree garden, Ningxiang Road, Dongheng Mountain, and Beiyuan Garden.

About 20 percent of plum blossoms at the garden have come into bloom, and starting from this week, the rest of them will gradually start flowering.
The Plum Garden was constructed by the Rong Family, whose businesses have expanded around the world and have a huge influence in Hong Kong and Macao.

During the festival, Wuxi authorities also invited entrepreneurs from Hong Kong and Macao to visit the Plum Garden and Rong Yiren Memorial Hall to further promote the entrepreneurial spirit of the Rong Family.
Travel routes tailored to people from Hong Kong and Macao were unveiled, and a proposal for economic cooperation between Wuxi and Hong Kong and Macao was launched the same day.
