Wuxi in East China's Jiangsu province organized a promotional meeting in Shenzhen, Guangdong province, on Feb 19, local media reported.
The meeting was held to showcase the city's development and enhance its exchanges and cooperation with Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao in urban construction, operation, and management.
In recent years, Wuxi has been working to integrate into the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and accelerate the construction of the Yangtze River Delta – Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao (Wuxi) Science and Innovation Industry Integrated Development Zone, according to Du Xiaogang, Party secretary of Wuxi.

He noted that enterprises are most active in furthering cooperation between Wuxi and Shenzhen and Wuxi has long been favored by enterprises from the Greater Bay Area.
Du also expects Greater Bay Area enterprises to find business opportunities and invest in Wuxi and promised to provide them with the best possible business environment.
At the meeting, Wuxi also secured 12 projects with a combined investment of over 31.2 billion yuan ($4.55 billion). These projects involve industrial park management, urban renewal, and international community.
In addition, Wuxi's promotional event includes visits to enterprise headquarters in Hong Kong, Macao, Zhuhai and other cities, as well as an investigation into urban construction, renewal, and management in the Greater Bay Area.
