Cooperation agreements on 85 projects worth more than 156 billion yuan ($22.43 billion) were inked between Wuxi and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area during a Wuxi delegation's trip to the Greater Bay Area from Feb 18 to 24.
During the seven-day trip, the Wuxi delegation hosted more than 40 activities in Shenzhen, Hong Kong, and Macao.
Wuxi is a suitable partner to the Greater Bay Area in industries. The city secured a group of industrial projects fit for its modern industrial system involving high-end equipment and third-generation semiconductors.

Technological cooperation is also important for the two place's integrated development. During the trip, Wuxi established the Wuxi Hong Kong Collaborative Innovation Center at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and the Taihu Lake Scholarship at the City University of Hong Kong. The city has set up investment funds at local universities and innovation institutions.
As a popular tourist destination in the Chinese mainland, the city offered residents of the Greater Bay Area tickets to 1,000 guestrooms in hotels under the management of Juna Hotels Group and 500,000 tickets to its renowned scenic spots, including Yuantouzhu, ancient Huishan town, and Lingshan Mountain scenic area.
