Seven deputies to the National People's Congress from Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, on March 3 departed for the annual session of the NPC held in Beijing from March 5 to 13.
All of them are bringing their own suggestions to the annual conference.
Zhao Jianjun, mayor of Wuxi, suggested offering support for the city's development of a national integrated circuit industrial chain collaborative innovation demonstration zone, a national benchmark in treating lakes, and a digital integrated bonded zone.
Chen Wei, president of Jiangnan University, suggested strengthening regulations on formula food for special medical purposes and more support for scientific innovation in the industry.
He Guanghua, director of the cable inspection center at the State Grid Wuxi Power Supply Co, hopes there will be more measures to bring the innovations of industrial workers into mass production.
Sun Huaqin, an engineer at the manufacturing department of SK Hynix Semiconductor (China) Ltd, offered a suggestion related to talent cultivation, the talent pool in the semiconductor industry and the semiconductor industry's further development.
Wu Guoping, honorary chairman of Wuxi Lingshan Cultural Tourism Group, calls for relevant government departments to support cultural and tourism enterprises in strengthening scientific innovation and application. He also made a suggestion related to the brand-based development of homestays in rural areas.
Li Hongyao, president of Jiangsu Xin Chang Jiang Group, suggested the establishment of a State-level common prosperity fund, while Ouyang Hua, secretary of the general Party branch of Baita village in Yixing, prepared nearly 10 suggestions involving rural governance.
