The SK Wuxi Hospital invested by South Korea-based SK Group in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, is expected to start operating in November 2024.
Covering an area of 156,000 square meters, the comprehensive hospital will have 1,500 beds and be constructed and managed by Renji Hospital Affiliated to the Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine and SK Group.
Renji Hospital will open its over 40 clinical departments, including gastroenterology, cardiology, and nephrology, in the hospital and the directorships of these departments will be assumed by experts from Renji Hospital.
The SK Wuxi Hospital will be equipped with high-end advanced medical devices such as a spiral tomographic radiation therapy system, a da Vinci robotic surgical system, and an endoscopic surgical robot.
