The sixth Global Wuxi Businessmen Conference and the Wuxi branch of the third Jiangsu Development Summit are set to take place in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, on May 21.
The events are expected to be attended by more than 400 participants, including Wuxi businesspeople, academicians, scholars, and representatives of outstanding enterprises.

The conference will run for two days and include one summit and six forums focusing on culture, finance, commerce, trade, as well as science and technology.
In addition, the conference will unveil the top 100 private companies in Wuxi in 2022 and the Wuxi Businesspeople Public Welfare Fund and award a number of innovative and talented young people.
Wuxi is the birthplace of China's industry and commerce and of township enterprises in the country, which has helped the city accumulate rich industry and commerce resources. Wuxi has always been proud of its businesspeople, who are crucial to the city's robust development.
To further promote an entrepreneurial spirit and business mindset, the city will inaugurate the Wuxi Taihu Entrepreneurs Academy during the conference.
With assistance from local authorities, the academy aims to improve the competence of entrepreneurs in Wuxi.
