Wuxi in East China's Jiangsu province held the 2023 Wuxi (Greater Bay Area) Cultural Industry Cooperation Conference in Shenzhen on May 27, local media outlets reported.
More than 200 participants from various fields in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area attended the conference to explore further cooperation between Wuxi and the Greater Bay Area in the cultural industry.

The Wuxi (Greater Bay Area) Cultural Industry Investment Promotion Center was inaugurated at the conference, which also witnessed the signing of agreements on 38 projects involving digital content, culture, tourism, cultural manufacturing, creative design, and film and television.

City culture and a series of policies concerning the cultural industry, including 100 million yuan ($14.16 million) worth of special funds for the industry, were also introduced at the conference.
The conference is part of Wuxi's cultural industry investment promotion trip in the Greater Bay Area. During the trip, the Wuxi delegation is expected to visit top local cultural companies and related institutions and government departments and arrange several business negotiations.
In February, Wuxi officials led a business delegation to the Greater Bay Area to seek comprehensive cooperation with the region.
