Wuxi New District (WND), a national high-tech zone in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, organized a seminar on technological innovation in Lyon, France on June 3, local time. During the seminar, representatives from the district and Lyon discussed cooperation.
WND opened a liaison office in France during the seminar, with the goal of increasing the district's recognition, facilitating technology achievement exchange between Wuxi and Lyon, and promoting business partnerships.
Lu Qingjiang, China's consul general in Lyon, welcomed the Wuxi delegation and highlighted the cooperation opportunities in the areas of new energy, new materials, smart manufacturing and biomedicine between Wuxi and the Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes region.
During the seminar, Han Yang, a Party official of WND, showcased the district's achievements and talent policies and welcomed French entrepreneurs, Chinese students studying in France and Chinese French to do business in WND.

In addition to attending the seminar, the Wuxi delegation also visited the Lyon Sino-French Institute and a museum on campus.
