The sports carnival is expected to further strengthen cross-Strait sports exchanges and polish the communication brand between Taiwan and Jiangsu. Thousands of young people from Taiwan and other cities in the Chinese mainland will compete in over 20 sports events, including basketball, Go, or weiqi in Chinese, and martial arts.
The Cross-Strait Youth Basketball Invitational, which has been held in Wuxi for two years, is a representative sports event of the Jiangsu carnival and also a new project for the exchanges between Wuxi and Taiwan.
During the carnival, Wuxi will organize a series of cultural and economic exchange activities to bring cross-Strait young people closer and help Taiwan people learn more about the city's profound culture and high-quality economic development.
