Three towns in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, were recently added to the list of provincial characteristic towns with local specialty industries by the Jiangsu Development and Reform Commission.
Nianhua Bay Zen town

Nianhua Bay is centered around the core cultural theme of "Zen" and has created a new vacation – "Zen lifestyle plus spiritual tourism".
Since its establishment, Nianhua Bay has continuously increased investment, optimized tourism products, improved infrastructure, and become more intelligent.
The scenic spot has received more than 10 million tourists since it opened to the public in 2015 and has been hailed as a model of national cultural tourism towns and the "cultural calling card" of Wuxi.
Taihu Film and Television Town

Taihu Film and Television Town is currently the only digital film-themed town in the province. It has formed an industrial clustering with certain technical strength and unique potential for industrial development.
Numerous high-quality films have been produced in the town and many well-known directors, actors, and screenwriters have worked here.
Xinqiao Fashion Town

Xinqiao Fashion Town focuses on the development of three major functional areas: the textile and apparel headquarters economy, an integration of culture, sports, and tourism, and characteristic countryside.
Since its establishment, the town has adopted modern technologies such as big data to upgrade the manufacturing industry and accelerate the gathering of strong industries.
In 2021, Xinqiao was ranked among the top 50 characteristic towns in China. Its two listed companies, Heilan Group and Jiangsu Sunshine Group, have made the list of the top 500 Chinese enterprises many times.
