A momentous agreement was reached on August 10, as the Centific Asia-Pacific headquarters was officially signed into effect in the Wuxi National Hi-tech District, or Xinwu district, in Wuxi, Jiangsu province.
Centific is a globally-renowned digital technology services company that specializes in digitalization, intelligence, and the user experience. With a strategic presence in various locations including Spain, Serbia, India, Malaysia, and Singapore, Centific serves clients such as Amazon, PayPal, and HP.
The Asia-Pacific headquarters marks a strategic move by Centific to assist multinational enterprises in China with digital transformation and provide digital services to Chinese enterprises looking to expand globally. With a registered capital of $25 million, the company aims for the headquarters to achieve annual revenue exceeding $200 million and recruit over 1,000 employees.
Venkat Rangapuram, CEO of Centific, commended the environment, supporting facilities, and industrial services of the iPark, or Wuxi Software Park, where the headquarters is located. He also shared about the company's future development plans.
Zhang Jinwei, head of Xinwu district, said the iPark has become a hub for various industries including big data, artificial intelligence, internet, and digital cultural creativity.
He added that Wuxi National Hi-tech District plays a pivotal role as an economic growth driver, a gateway to the world, and a hub for technological innovation in Wuxi. In 2022, the district achieved a regional GDP of 243.05 billion yuan ($33.38 billion), the second-highest in the city. In recent years, the district has positioned the digital economy as one of its most important industries.
