A delegation from Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, hosted an investment promotion conference at the China-UAE Industrial Capacity Cooperation Demonstration Zone in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, on Aug 14 local time.
Thirty Wuxi enterprises involved in new materials, new energy, the digital economy, biological medicine, and fund were organized to visit the demonstration zone.

The China-UAE Industrial Capacity Cooperation Demonstration Zone in the Khalifa Economic Zone Abu Dhabi, or KEZAD Group, has experienced stable development in recent years and KEZAD will create an ideal place for Chinese enterprises, said Fatima Al Hammadi, chief business officer of KEZAD Group at the conference.
Mohamed Al Khadar, CEO of KEZAD Group, expressed his hope that Chinese enterprises, especially those from Wuxi, will promote their development models and entrepreneurial experience in the zone.
Attracted by the zone's competitive investment cost, efficient management service, strong financial support and reassuring safety protection, Wuxi businesses signed cooperation agreements worth $400 million with the demonstration zone.

Some other Wuxi enterprises also inked cooperation agreements worth a combined $880 million with Middle East counterparts at the conference.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative and the fifth anniversary of the establishment of the China-UAE comprehensive strategic partnerships.
Wuxi delegation members noted that they expect Wuxi and UAE enterprises to cooperate more closely under the BRI Initiative and the "We the UAE 2031" Vision.
