The cable industry is the most famous calling card of Guanlin. As one of the four cable industry towns in China, Guanlin sees more than 100 billion yuan of annual output value from that industry and as of 2022, the town was home to nearly 1,000 businesses related to it.
In recent years, the town has adjusted its industrial development and determined new energy, new materials, and precision auto parts as its new direction.
