The Fascinating Wuxi – Urban Cultural Exchange Festival was held in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, on Sept 8 to promote the city's image as a shining pearl of Taihu Lake and prosperous land of Jiangnan region.
As part of the event, diplomats from Thailand, Dominica, Sierra Leone, and Ecuador started their two-day journey in the city on the same day.

After appreciating a calligraphy work with the Chinese characters "遇见锡引力大使行", meaning "ambassadors' visit to Wuxi", they will visit the Wuxi National Digital Film Industrial Park, also known as Wuxi Studios, attend the 2023 Taihu Lake Concert, tour Huishan Ancient Town, and explore Nanshan IoV Town.
During the event, programs about one day in Wuxi and the city's cultural and tourism resources will be launched, and key opinion leaders will be invited to introduce the city to their followers.

Wuxi has always valued international exchanges and cooperation. The city has built economic and trade relations with more than 220 countries and regions and forged friendly and cooperative relations with 50 cities in 28 countries.
This year, the city has sent economic and trade delegations to Singapore, Japan, South Korea, the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates to visit old friends and make new ones.
