The China International Intelligent Communication Forum 2023 opened on Saturday in the eastern Chinese city of Wuxi, Jiangsu province, co-hosted by China Media Group and the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government.
Hu Jinjun, deputy director of China Media Group, attended the opening ceremony and said in his address that the forum centers on cutting-edge agendas on intelligent communication in a bid to facilitate cultural exchanges among civilizations and collaboration towards integrative global media.

China Media Group is willing to work together with other media groups and people from all walks of life to empower new media communication with innovation and intelligence, jointly sharing stories about modern China, Hu added.
Du Xiaogang, secretary of the CPC Wuxi Municipal Committee, remarked that the city provides a platform that links China and the world to inject vitality into intelligent communication. Wuxi will seize the opportunity to boost its digital economy and build a model for deeply-integrated media.
Liu Jian, vice-president of Xinhua News Agency, pointed out that artificial intelligence is enhancing social production to a remarkable degree, transforming the way we live and accelerating the intelligent development of media. It is time to achieve new breakthroughs in international communication and make the loudest Chinese voices heard.

Matteo Renzi, former prime minister of Italy, Erik Solheim, former under-secretary-general of the United Nations and president of Europe-Asia Center, and Shahbaz Khan, representative of UNESCO Mutisectoral Regional Office for East Asia, also delivered their speeches via video link, promising a brighter and more inclusive future in intelligent communication across the nations.
With "CMG Arithmetics" launched, China Media Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the government of Binhu district in Wuxi.
A roundtable dialogue featuring five youths from home and abroad was held during the event, discussing pressing topics and new challenges that young generation face from a multicultural perspective.
It is more than just a forum, and a great variety of cultural exchange activities and a city tour for foreign envoys were also offered.
