Wuxi in East China's Jiangsu province hosted a forum on bolstering the sustainability of the China – Europe Railway Express in Lianyungang on Sept 15 as part of the China-Europe Railway Express Cooperation Forum.
Du Xiaogang, Party secretary of Wuxi, told the forum that the city will create the best business environment and become the most satisfying city for foreign investors and that it will also accelerate becoming a hub for air cargo, international railway freight, and port cargo.

The Wuxi distribution centers of the Lianyungang Sino – Kazakhstan Logistics Base and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (Lianyungang) International Logistics Park were unveiled at the forum.
In addition, the Wuxi West Railway Station Logistics Park forged a friendly relationship with the ULS international terminal at the Chukursay Station in Uzbekistan and the Wuxi International Freight Train Co signed a strategic cooperation agreement with SAIC Maxus to reduce the automaker's delivery time from 60 days to 25 days.
Guests, including Cong Sufeng, vice-chairman of the Jiangsu sub-council of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and Ali Nemati, minister-counselor of the embassy of Iran in China, delivered keynote speeches at the forum.
Experts also shared their insights on the China – Europe Railway trains providing a boost to BRI development and the relationship between the China – Europe Railway trains and cross-border e-commerce.
