The four-day 2023 World Internet of Things Exposition, or WIoT, is set to commence in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, on Oct 20, according to the latest press conference held in Nanjing.
The expo this year will feature a summit, an exhibition, and other activities involving dialogues, product releases, and consumer experiences.

The WIoT Wuxi Summit will take place at the Wuxi International Conference Center on Oct 21, welcoming over 2,000 participants including leading officials, academicians, and industry leaders.
The 50,000-square meter exhibition will focus on IoT-based infrastructure, smart sensors, industrial IoT, the internet of vehicles, and intelligent connected vehicles. Eighty-one renowned overseas enterprises including Microsoft, Siemens, and Fanuc will be invited to set up booths at the exhibition.

The expo will also utilize cutting-edge technologies such as augmented reality, virtual reality, mixed reality, and artificial intelligence to design 10 digital scenarios for expo-goers to experience the convenience brought about by state-of-the-art technologies.
Since its inception in 2010, the WIoT has welcomed over 1.1 million visitors from more than 50 countries and regions and witnessed the signing of cooperation agreements on nearly 1,000 projects.
