Wuxi in East China's Jiangsu province secured six projects worth $1.06 billion at an economic and trade cooperation and exchange meeting between Jiangsu and Hong Kong on Oct 13.
Jiangsu inked 37 projects with a combined investment of $3.3 billion at the meeting.
The projects secured by Wuxi focus on high-end manufacturing, headquarters economy, and strengthening cooperation between Wuxi and HK.

Impro Aerospace Technology Co plans to invest another $80 million in Wuxi, SJSemi plans to build a Chinese headquarters in Jiangyin, a county-level city in Wuxi, and CITIC Pacific Properties and AstraZeneca will integrate the resources of both cities to enhance cooperation between innovation platforms.
AstraZeneca will join hands with Guolian Group to build the Wuxi – AstraZeneca Hong Kong Innovation Center centering on biological medicine, intelligent manufacturing, and advanced materials.
As of June, HK had invested $148.47 billion in Wuxi, while in the Jan-June-period, Wuxi approved 58 HK-invested projects and its actual utilization of HK capital surged 35.6 percent year-on-year to $2.25 billion, making HK the major source of foreign capital in the city.
