The 2023 World IoT Exposition is about to commence in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, on Oct 20. Reservations for experiencing IoT application scenarios, one of the supporting activities, have opened.
The experience activity will be available on Oct 20 and 21 and has two routes, both starting from the Wuxi Taihu International Expo Center.
The first route involves autonomous shuttle buses, the Wuxi City Operation Center, the Xuelang Computing Power Center and Wuxi Studios while the second route involves Wuxi Pro-face Electronics Co, the Wuxi New District Free Trade Zone, Nanshan IoV Town and the Taihu Lake Rice Farming Park.
People interested in the activity can scan the following QR code to make a reservation.
IoT technologies have been applied in all aspects of Wuxi's city management, including transportation, environmental protection, and medical care, assisting the city in becoming the only Asian city enrolled for the IEEE Smart City Pilot Project.

For example, the first intelligent connected vehicles started operating in the Wuxi Economic Development District in March and China's largest driverless microcirculation shuttle bus system has taken shape in the city.
To date, the driverless shuttle buses have carried 25,000 people over more than 1.5 million kilometers and intelligent driving has been applied to logistics and urban cleaning for the past six months.
