WEIFU Group, based in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, was recently added to the list of intelligent manufacturing demonstration factories in 2023 by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
WEIFU is the first business in the city that has won such an honor.

Founded in 1958, WEIFU is the top 30 auto parts maker in China and among the top 100 most valuable listed companies on the Chinese main board. It owns more than 10 subsidiaries.
The group established the Automotive Diesel Systems Division in 2004, making it the largest manufacturer of in-line common rail pumps in the world with an annual production of 2.5 million.

In 2018, WEIFU started constructing its intelligent factory and up to now it has invested about 19.5 million yuan ($2.67 million) in intelligent transformation and information system creation.
The group's high-pressure common rail pump intelligent manufacturing factory uses 5G, digital twin, industrial internet, artificial intelligence, and edge computing technologies to make production controllable, traceable, and transparent.
