The fourth Wuxi Entrepreneurs Day is just around the corner and millions of Wuxi entrepreneurs have created a solid industrial base for the Jiangsu city and for its continuous prosperity.
Wuxi has led the province in the number of top 500 Chinese businesses, manufacturers, and service providers for five years in a row with a combined 54 businesses making the lists this year.

In 2022, the added value of private economy in the city amounted to 983.12 billion yuan ($134.80 billion), accounting for 66.2 percent of the city's total and the output value of private businesses above designated size surged by 12.8 percent from the previous year to 1.43 trillion yuan.

To date, 90 percent of the "little giant" enterprises, provincial-level specialized small and medium-sized enterprises, and innovative SMEs are private ones.
