The 2023 International Private Equity Market China Forum opened in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, on Nov 9.
Former French Prime Minister and Chairman of Foundation Prospective and Innovation Jean-Pierre Raffarin addressed the forum, noting that the forum benefits economic and trade contact between China and France.

Raffarin also expressed hope that both Chinese and European investors will leverage the forum to enhance exchanges and cooperation to achieve green and sustainable development.
Europe's largest private equity investment platform, IPEM was held outside of France for the first time and brought nearly 100 French investors and manufacturing entrepreneurs to Wuxi to help more local businesses go global.

Wuxi has valued the introduction and cultivation of private equity funds and is now home to 524.2 billion yuan ($72 billion) worth of such funds, according to the city's leadership present at the forum.
Several subforums and onsite visits will be arranged for participants over the following two days.
