The 2023-24 VEX Robotics Competition Asia Open Signature Event kicked off in Wuxi Taihu International Expo Center in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, on Dec 30.
As the first of such event to be held in China, it attracted nearly 1,000 groups of more than 4,000 competitors from 16 countries and regions, including Australia, Canada, and the United States.

Themed "Led by technology, Limited innovation," the event aims to build a challenging and innovative platform for teenagers from around the world to learn about and exchange ideas on robotics.
Running for three days, winners of the event will advance to the VEX Robotics Competition to take on the world stage.
VEX Robotics Competition is a global sci-tech contest and is intended to inspire children's passion for technology, engineering and math.

Organizing committee of the VEX Robotics Competition Asia Open, iSTEM Network is authorized by RECF, founder of the VEX Robotics Competition and has held the VEX China Open and VEX Asia Open for many consecutive years.
