The 13th Horticultural Exposition of Jiangsu Province is set to take place in Wuxi in 2025, with the core exhibition area situated in Jiangyin's Xiakewan Science City.
The expo's design will integrate closely with urban renewal to offer an expansive shared gathering space which will enhance the overall aesthetics and living environment of local townships.

"Mazhen village will host six themed exhibitions including shared courtyards, parent-child activities, and elderly-friendly lifestyles," said Shao Yan from the urban management bureau of Jiangyin.
A 9,000-square meter residential area with incomplete facilities within the village will be transformed into a shared courtyard exhibition featuring a dedicated airing area, recreation area, and standardized parking guidance, according to Shao.

Adhering to the principle of intensive resource utilization, the expo seeks to better leverage existing buildings. The Xu Xiake Tourism Museum will be upgraded into the 5,800-sq m main exhibition hall while the Xiake Cultural Hall will be renovated into a 2,800-sq m low-carbon technology-themed exhibition hall.
To meet the high parking demand during the expo, parking lots will be constructed at the western entrance to Xuxiake Road.
