Wuxi, situated in East China, is reputed as the "Pearl of the Taihu Lake" and cradle of the 3,000-year-old Wu culture.
With beautiful landscapes, comfortable living and work conditions, and a favorable business climate, the Jiangnan-style city has emerged as a hotspot for talent from both home and abroad.
Wuxi now is soliciting article and short video submissions from expats! Those who have studied, worked, or lived in Wuxi are welcome to share their experience in the city in English. Contributors of selected submissions will receive a certificate!
Participants are required to provide information for identity confirmation and further contact when submitting written or video materials for the solicitation campaign.
Requirements for submissions
Articles & Photos:
150 to 1,000 words
10 photos maximum, each with a caption, in JPG or PNG formats
Videos:
Content: Wuxi's scenery, memories and opinions of Wuxi
Format: MP4
Dimensions: horizontal: 16:9, vertical: 9:16
Size and Length: 1GB maximum, up to 3 minutes.
Caption: 50-150 English words for a brief introduction.

NOTE: Larger video files may be submitted via email with links to Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, etc.
Publication Details:
Selected outstanding submissions will be published to the English version of the official Wuxi municipal government website and social media accounts, including Facebook, X, and Tik Tok. They will also be translated into Chinese and then published.
