The W'eco Design Festival, which is set to take place on Wuxi's Bogong lsland from May 17 to 19, was announced at the Milano Design Week·China & Design 2024 in Italy on April 15.
Themed "The Future Lies in Water", the design festival will focus on the relations between ecological design and industries, cities, and daily life, showcasing China's ecological design and its applications.

Brescia's Monte lsolal and Bogong lsland forged a sister island relationship during the event. Brescia will participate in the design festival next month.

At the Milano Design Week·China & Design 2024, Bogong lsland received an award for its efforts in landscape improvement.
In addition, Wuxi Taihu Yuantouzhu Tourism Group Co and W'eco Design Festival inked strategic cooperation agreements with China Design Center Milan Studio, a base camp for Chinese designers to ascend the international design arena, to promote international exchanges and share design resources.
