Wuxi charms Portugal with rich culture

Wuxi in Jiangsu province hosted an enriching event spotlighting its tea culture, purple clay teapots, Huishan clay figurines, and folk music at Museu do Oriente in Lisbon, Portugal on May 23.

The event offered local attendees a unique opportunity to revel in the vibrant tapestry of Wuxi's cultural heritage.

Accompanied by melodious Jiangnan-style folk music, tea master Liu Fang performed tea ceremonies while ceramists Deng Yaya and Liu Jianfang demonstrated the making of renowned zisha teapots.

During the event, Wuxi also presented its mascot Da A Fu, a Huishan clay figurine, to its sister-city Cascais and established its first overseas Zhong Reading Yard in the city.
