The new WPP operations and delivery hub established by GroupM, a media investment company owned by global advertisement and public relations agency WPP, was put into use in Binhu district, Wuxi, Jiangsu province, on July 15.
GroupM plans to leverage the abundant resources in the district and carry out in-depth collaboration with Wuxi National Digital Film Industrial Park, also known as Wuxi Studios, in planted advertisements and the publicity and distribution of audiovisual content.

Rupert McPetrie, CEO of GroupM, said that he had heard of Wuxi's culture, commerce, and entrepreneurial spirit, and that the creative and entrepreneurial spirit are crucial to GroupM.
He noted that the operations and delivery hub is expected to improve the company's operation and service to satisfy clients' growing demands.
Chris Reitermann, chairman of WPP China, believes that the establishment will attract more clients in East China.

The presence of WPP in Wuxi showcases its recognition of the Chinese city's development potential and business environment. It looks to inject new vitality into the city's development of new quality productive forces.
In recent years, Binhu district has actively developed its cultural industry. Relying on Wuxi Studios where over 1,200 films and TV series have been shot and produced, the district has gradually formed a complete modern film industry chain.
