A delegation comprising teachers and students from Jiangnan University in Wuxi and representatives from local enterprises recently embarked on a 10-day journey in Mangkuan, a township in Baoshan, Yunnan province.
The School of Foreign Studies of Jiangnan University, in collaboration with enterprises from Wuxi, donated a copy machine and three color printers to Mangkuan Minzu Middle School and established a special scholarship fund, benefiting over 1,200 teachers and students. These acts will not only significantly improve the school's teaching facilities, but also create a better learning environment for students.

A group of professors from the university offered diverse and meticulously planned courses to students at Mangkuan Minzu Middle School. Professor Yuan Xuesheng and Associate Professor Li Wen sparked a deep interest in English culture among ethnic minority students by sharing their personal academic experiences and life insights.
Jiangnan University students offered courses focusing on English dubbing, translation and proofreading, and paper-cutting to inspire students' creativity and innovation and enhance their aesthetic appreciation and craftsmanship skills.

In their spare time, the visitors from Wuxi also engaged with local coffee, mango, and jackfruit growers and contractors so as to explore innovative approaches to expanding sales channels for local products. These approaches encompass the establishment of industry incubation bases, vocational skills training, and the integration of foreign languages with e-commerce.
They also talked with local tourism enterprises about how to attract more international tourists and promote the development of local tourism through improved services, diverse tourism products, and vigorous market promotion.
