They intend to designate 10 community hospitals as observation sites to establish a grassroots control network for schistosomiasis. This initiative aims to assist the local government in developing a new operational framework for the disease's control and treatment.
They have established the China (Jiangsu) Zanzibar Institute of Tropical Disease Control Cooperation Center, grassroots observation sites for schistosomiasis, and a health education and popular science base in Zanzibar and launched a project for safe water supply.
