The center has long been collaborating with Africa in fisheries, involving exchanging experts, sharing techniques, and offering training lessons, according to Bing Xuwen, deputy director of the Freshwater Fisheries Research Center.
He hoped the seminar would further consolidate the cooperation between China and Senegal in agriculture and aquaculture and that Senegal's fishery industry would be modernized early.
In 2023, the center dispatched four experts for the bilateral cooperation project in fisheries in Senegal, offering suggestions for the planning and development of the aquaculture industry in the country.
