"An Encounter with Chinese Culture: Jiangsu Week of Chinese Folk Music" raised its curtain in Stuttgart, Germany, on Sept 18, marking the opening of the "Grand Canal Meets Rhine River" exhibition.
The Jiangsu Symphony Orchestra delivered a splendid performance of "Forever Jiangnan" a Chinese folk music concert at the Kultur-und Kongresszentrum Liederhalle on the same day, receiving overwhelming praise from the German audience.
During the art week, multiple Chinese folk music performances, exhibitions, lectures, and pop-up shows are expected to be organized. These activities are designed to showcase the profound Jiangnan culture and strengthen the cultural exchanges and people-to-people bond between Jiangsu and Baden-Württemberg.
