The Wuxi Symphony Orchestra will join with world-class pianist Denis Matsuev and renowned Chinese conductor Chen Zhengzhe to present a concert named The Force of Destiny at the Wuxi Grand Theater on Oct 26.
This marks the second collaboration between the Wuxi Symphony Orchestra and the Russian pianist. Earlier this year, Matsuev received enthusiastic applause at the New Year's concert for his magnificent performance of Sergey Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No 2 in C Minor.

The concert will feature Giuseppe Verdi's Overture to the Force of Destiny, Sergei Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No 2 in G Minor, excerpts from Guan Xia's The Ballad of Mulan, and Sir Edward Elgar's Enigma Variations.
