Yunke Garden, also known as "Small White Building" by the old residents of Wuxi, reopened to the public on Nov 5 after extensive renovation.

Located at No 5 Changda Lane, Liangxi district, it was built by the modern national industrialist Yang Weiyun and is a well-preserved private garden in the urban area of Wuxi. The architectural style blends Chinese and Western elements, exuding an elegant charm.

In March of this year, Yang Shijian, the grandson of Yang Weiyun, donated the garden and the precious family relics to Wuxi Museum free of charge.

The garden is set to open to the public free of charge from Nov 5 to Dec 4.

Opening hours: 9 am to 5 pm from Tuesday to Sunday
